Md Badarinath Gella had begun his Yoga journey at the young age of 11. He trained under Yoga Guru and International Gold Medallist Mr Mukesh Kumar for three years. He has since delved even deeper into the practice of traditional Yoga. While pursuing his Masters in Civil Engineering in Italy in 2016, he started ‘Yoga with Gella’ and organised several Yoga events across Europe, to showcase the many benefits of Yoga. These events were covered by several top Indian news channels such as Sakshi, Andhra Jyothi, and more. He was also invited by Roma Radio Capitale, a top radio station in Italy, for an interview on his Yoga journey.
His holistic approach has helped many people become physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually strong. He is also widely known for having helped people recover from Spine-related ailments. With his expertise in healing back pain, people have experienced immense improvements in their everyday life. He provides personalised Yoga routines for those who require special care. He also offers consultation to Yoga enthusiasts who wish to address any of their health issues, or would like to practice Yoga on a long-term basis.
Through his online and offline classes and events, Badrinath has reached out to 10,000 people worldwide. During the COVID-19 pandemic alone, he has offered more than 60+ free online Yoga sessions with a focus on boosting immunity, with over 100 participants daily across the world. Over 7500 students participated enthusiastically to learn from him.
Currently, he is on a mission to popularise the ancient Indian knowledge of Yoga that could help people live a more peaceful, blissful and harmonious life by promoting authentic techniques. He hopes to educate as many people as possible about the benefits of practising Yoga regularly.

Badarinath Gella holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Bologna in Italy. He has worked as a research scholar at the University of Bradford, UK. He has also worked in Finland as a life cycle assessment engineer. Later, he shifted to the development sector and worked in the rural areas with Indian state governments, NGOs, Corporates and also in academia. During his tenure, he was able to implement projects related to Agriculture, Education, Energy, Water, Waste Management and Affordable Housing.
In 2020 he was selected as a Mentor of Change by NITI Aayog Atal Innovation Mission as one of the Ambassadors of India to HundrED.
